This virtual event featured a panel of experts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Jefferson County Dept. of Health, Auburn School of Nursing, Alabama State Perinatal Division, and more, leading discussions around this critical issue facing communities in our region and beyond. This panel discussed the burden of maternal complications and mortality and led conversation about the health disparities that exist among the populations at greatest risk.
